SPTE: Chrome Add-on for French WordPress Translations
SPTE is a free Chrome add-on developed by Loïc Antignac. It falls under the category of browsers and specifically belongs to the subcategory of add-ons and tools. This add-on is designed to help users identify typographical errors in French translations on the WordPress platform.
- Non-breaking spaces displayed in white
- Breakable spaces at the beginning and end of a string highlighted in blue
Additionally, SPTE identifies the following errors:
- Straight apostrophes instead of curved apostrophes
Each error is accompanied by a tooltip that provides additional information upon hovering. Clicking on the "Details" link at the end of each line reveals the original string without syntax highlighting. Furthermore, the erroneous string is displayed in the input/editing section.
